Position: Data Analyst - Operations
Location: 100% Remote (US-based)
Reports to: Data Science Manager
Base Salary: $120,000 to $140,000

What You Will Do:
- Build dynamic dashboards and reporting that leaders rely on for real-time decision making.
- Develop polished SQL and Python analyses that illuminate how our operations run and how they can be improved.
- Partner with engineering and operations to transform raw data into clean, scalable models that power the business.
- Dive deep into performance trends, identify root causes, and deliver recommendations that drive meaningful change.
- Serve as the primary analytics partner for key internal stakeholders, ensuring data is accessible, reliable, and actionable.
- Present insights through clear storytelling, strong visualizations, and executive-ready communication.
- Contribute ideas, champion best practices, and help shape the culture of a growing data team.
- Bring creativity and experimentation to a space where the problems we encounter are often brand new.
Qualifications:
- 2 - 4 years of Data Analyst professional experience in Data Analytics or Business Intelligence
- Advanced SQL expertise across modern data platforms (e.g., Snowflake, BigQuery, Postgres)
- Proficiency in dbt for data transformation and modeling
- Proficiency in Data/BI Tools: Looker, Power BI or Tableau
- Data Stack: Python (Pandas/Numpy, SQLAlchemy ), Postgres, Looker
- Demonstrated success optimizing and scaling reporting infrastructure
- Strong cross-functional communication skills and comfort interfacing with non-technical teams
- Ability to manage shifting priorities and deliver value in an agile, startup environment
- Adaptable, creative problem solver with a collaborative mindset
Preferred (but not required)
- Prior experience in the insurance, insurtech or B2B SaaS industry
- Exposure to cloud data architectures and modern ELT workflows
