Solutions Architect - Cloud Data Analytics Infrastructure

At Stomble we're an exciting startup looking for an experienced solutions architect to join our team. We are a small startup bootstrapping our way forward with a group of eager engineers and designers already with a high level of ambition to build and deliver our MVP product to the world.

Stomble is creating, developing and building a data analytics infrastructure that is powered by AI to enable our business customers to centralize their data into one location, transform their information and enable them to make faster decision, reduce decision-fatigue and simplify data transfer across a small or large organization. Our tool simplifies a team's understanding on what data can do, real-time data acquisition and what to do with it.

We're looking for a highly skilled solutions architect who has experience in startups and can visualize our product from the ground up to enable us to build a world-class product that has every chance of success. We would also love to find someone who is open to a brand new challenge in a new product, team and environment who is open to learning and finding new innovative ways to bring this to life.

Key Responsibilities:

• Planning: Assisting our team to plan our architecture by assisting us to choose the right tools to bring our product online.
• Research: Continuous learning and research to build a well thought out product that is responsive, cheap, scalable and, agile.
• Cross-functional teams: Working across multiple teams to accept requirements, discuss progress, challenges and deploy quickly. In addition, help our teams understand the architecture and provide suggestions to our current diagrams and solutions.
• Discover: Working alongside us to define what we need to improve, iterate upon and learn for upcoming challenges we may face.

Job Requirements:

• Building and working alongside key stakeholders to develop strategic plans for designing cloud architect diagrams.
• Setting up, managing and advising based on the projects requirements.
• Must be willing at learning and adopting new technologies.
• Collaborating with different team members to achieve successful outcomes.
• Security and compliance best practices.
• Must have experience working with Azure cloud provider.
• Assistance in setting up disaster recovery systems.
• Assisting in cost optimizations to ensure efficiency.
• Can assist with automation and scripting.
• Working alongside development, security and operations teams.
• Discussing with cloud platforms to assist us in releasing and unlocking more credits for our team.

Technical Requirements:

• Design and review existing solution blueprints and assist in improving and re-thinking on ways to improve efficiency.
• Translating business requirements and needs to bridge the gap between business and technical teams.
• Assisting development and engineering teams during strategic planning phases and engineering build-out.
• Review, revise and plan the technical strategy to enable us to plan for the future based on customer feedback.
• Evaluating risk and potential constraints which may pose a risk in the early stages of our business.
• Ensuring alignment with the overall business strategy and technology.
• Documenting, communicating and sharing best design practices throughout the project lifecycle.
