Position Overview
Reporting directly to the Lead Developer, the Front-End Web Developer will serve as the day-to-day development lead for a diverse range of web applications and digital solutions. You will own the implementation of responsive, user-friendly interfaces, maintain component libraries, and deliver high-quality code on tight deadlines. Beyond core development, you will collaborate closely with UI/UX designers, back-end engineers, and product teams to translate designs into functional, scalable, and visually appealing web experiences. Success in this role means clean code, seamless user interactions, and continuous improvements that enhance performance and maintainability across projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop responsive and dynamic web applications using HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript (ES6+)
- Build and maintain reusable UI components and front-end libraries for future use
- Collaborate with designers and back-end developers to ensure technical feasibility of UI/UX designs
- Optimize applications for maximum speed, scalability, and cross-browser compatibility
- Integrate RESTful APIs and handle asynchronous data flow using frameworks such as React, Vue.js, or Angular
- Conduct regular testing, debugging, and performance tuning
- Stay up to date with the latest front-end trends, frameworks, and tools to continuously improve the development workflow
- Contribute to process improvements and implement best practices for front-end development operations
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
- Minimum 3–5 years of experience in front-end development, ideally within a fast-paced tech or digital environment
- Proficiency in JavaScript frameworks (React preferred), along with strong skills in HTML, CSS, and responsive design
- Experience working with version control systems such as Git/GitHub
- Familiarity with modern front-end build tools (Webpack, NPM, Vite, or similar)
- Strong attention to detail, clean coding practices, and a keen eye for design
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines effectively
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams
