Position Overview
We’re looking for a Back-End Web Developer who thrives on solving complex problems and building the systems that power exceptional user experiences. You’ll play a key role in designing, developing, and maintaining the backbone of our web applications — ensuring everything runs fast, securely, and seamlessly.
As part of our growing development team, you’ll collaborate with front-end engineers, product managers, and designers to architect robust APIs, optimize database performance, and create scalable solutions that make a real impact. Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain server-side applications, APIs, and databases for web-based solutions
- Collaborate with front-end developers to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic
- Develop and manage data storage solutions using SQL or NoSQL databases (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB)
- Ensure the security, reliability, and scalability of all back-end systems
- Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code following industry best practices
- Optimize application performance and troubleshoot production issues as needed
- Implement authentication, authorization, and data protection best practices
- Participate in code reviews, technical discussions, and continuous improvement initiatives
- Stay current with emerging back-end technologies, frameworks, and trends
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
- 3–5 years of professional experience as a Back-End Developer or in a similar role
- Strong proficiency in one or more back-end languages such as JavaScript (Node.js), Python, or PHP
- Experience with RESTful APIs and microservices architecture
- Solid understanding of database management systems and data modeling principles
- Proficiency with version control systems such as Git/GitHub
- Knowledge of software deployment pipelines, testing frameworks, and DevOps practices
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong communication and collaboration abilities in a remote, cross-functional team environment
