Title: Software Engineer / DevOps Engineer
Location: UK – Remote
Salary: £85,000 - £90,000 + 15% bonus
Day Rate (if contracting): £500 - £600 per day Outside IR35

Contract: 1-month rolling (with view to perm once funding lands)
Wedo has partnered with a Series B Cyber Security company on a mission to protect digital assets across the crypto ecosystem.
They’re hiring a Software Engineer turned DevOps Engineer to join a tight-knit team of six including a Lead DevOps Engineer, QA Manager, Product Manager, and Head of Product. You’ll take ownership of their infrastructure and help them scale a platform used by customers globally.
The company is in the final stages of securing additional funding, so they’re looking for someone available within the next two weeks to start on a rolling contract before converting to permanent.
What you’ll be doing
- Working hands-on with AWS-heavy infrastructure, high-trust API integrations, and systems that need to perform flawlessly.
- Building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines (ideally GitHub Actions).
- Automating provisioning and scaling with Pulumi + TypeScript (Terraform experience welcome too).
- Monitoring and optimising system performance and reliability.
- Bringing a DevSecOps mindset — security baked into everything you do.

What you’ll bring
- Strong foundation in software engineering (ideally TypeScript).
- Solid DevOps experience across AWS, Kubernetes, and IaC.
- Familiarity with serverless architecture (especially Lambdas).
- Curiosity for cybersecurity, blockchain, or cryptography (nice to have).
