Job Description
Schedule: Monday to Friday (6:00AM - 3:00PM PHT)
What are we looking for?
Skills Required
- 3 years' experience working in a DevOps/ Cloud Engineering role
- Proven experience with AWS technologies and services (Azure or Google Cloud also accepted)
- Extensive experience with infrastructure as code and CI/CD platforms and pipeline deployments (e.g., GitLab, Harness, BuildKite etc.)
- Experience working with Configuration Management tools (e.g., Ansible, Python, Chef Puppet)
- Ability to manage AWS infrastructure using Terraform, Cloudformation
- Previous experience working in an Agile environment is essential
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- You value and encourage other's expertise, efforts and ideas and provide support when things don't always go as planned
- Ability to manage multiple different stakeholders from both technical and non-technical backgrounds
- Collaborative and innovative, with a CI/CD approach to improving current systems & processes
- AWS DevOps Engineer, Developer or other relevant AWS certification
- A degree in computer science, software engineering or a similar field would be advantageous.
- Architectural Leadership & Collaboration: Actively contribute to and influence critical cloud engineering discussions, partnering with cross-functional teams to architect and deploy robust, cloud-native solutions on AWS.
- DevOps Enablement & Automation: Engineer and optimize high-velocity CI/CD pipelines for rapid software delivery, providing expert cloud infrastructure support throughout the entire development lifecycle.
- Container & Serverless Application Development: Design, deploy, and manage scalable containerized applications using AWS ECS and EKS, while also developing and supporting serverless solutions with AWS Lambda to optimize cost and efficiency.
- Data & Messaging Service Management: Administer and optimize managed AWS data services like RDS and ElastiCache for performance and integrity, and implement event-driven architectures using SQS to build resilient, decoupled systems.
- Cloud Security & Compliance: Implement robust security best practices for all applications and proactively manage the security posture of AWS environments through continuous monitoring, patch management, and remediation of vulnerabilities.
- System Reliability & Operational Excellence: Guarantee the availability of critical systems by designing for high availability to meet stringent uptime SLAs, while championing best practices for cloud operations and DevOps.
- Technology Innovation & Strategy: Continually evaluate and integrate emerging AWS technologies, introducing new ideas and concepts to drive continuous improvement and enhance platform capabilities.
