Link Solutions is seeking a Cybersecurity Information System Security Manager (ISSM) to join our team in Aberdeen Proving Ground, MD.

- Non-remote (relocation incentive available) The Cybersecurity Information System Security Manager will serve as front-line support for mission-critical personnel at the U.S. Army Combat Capabilities Development Command Chemical Biological Center (DEVCOM) _._ The ISSM will be responsible for overseeing governance, risk, and compliance activities for Army IT systems and networks. You will manage the cybersecurity operations within the DoD Risk Management Framework (RMF), ensuring systems meet accreditation and security requirements, and maintain secure communication across DEVCOM and Army Organizations. - Conduct comprehensive risk and vulnerability assessments to identify and mitigate risks.
- Manage Plans of Action & Milestones (POA&Ms) to track and remediate identified vulnerabilities.
- Ensure continuous compliance with Government (e.g., NIST, DoD) and industry standards.
- Perform oversight of the development, implementation, and evaluation of information system security policies
- Advise on Risk Management Framework (RMF) and Joint SAP Implementation Guide (JSIG) authorization processes
- Ensure proper training for cybersecurity personnel and maintain system authorization documentation.
- Develop and execute security assessment plans and incident response procedures.
- Coordinate configuration management and periodic security posture assessments.
Qualifications
- Must be a U.S. Citizen.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain an active DoD Secret Clearance.
- IAT Level III Certification per DoD 8570/DoD 8140 (CASP+, CCNP Security, CISA, CISM, CISSP, GCED, GCIH, etc.).
- Two (2+) years of relevant analysis experience within an ISSM role.
- Strong knowledge of RMF, JSIG, and system lifecycle security integration.
- DoD Secret Clearance
- BA/BS in Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or related field.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office products.
- Experience creating and modifying documentation for technical processes and procedures.
- Experience working in a Department of Defense (DoD) environment.
- A problem solver and troubleshooter who thrives in resolving complex problems.
- Excellent communication skills (written and oral) and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks.
- Salary Range: $90,000 - $140,000 Several factors influence the final salary or hourly rate, including but not limited to contract wage determinations, relevant work experience, role-specific skills and competencies, geographic location, educational background, certifications, and federal government contract labor categories.
