Philippines (Remote)
We have an opening for a junior frontend engineer to be deployed to an established DeFi service in the Solana ecosystem. This is a full-time remote position working with top-tier engineers in a high-performance environment. The role focuses on building and maintaining web applications for decentralized finance products.
You'll work primarily with TypeScript and React to develop user interfaces and features. The position offers opportunities to learn from experienced engineers and contribute to the development of DeFi applications used by hundreds of thousands of users.
This is an entry-level role perfect for developers who are passionate about web development and eager to learn about blockchain technology. Web3 experience is a plus but not required—we're happy to train the right candidate.
Key Responsibilities
- Build and maintain user-facing features for DeFi trading and liquidity applications
- Implement responsive designs and ensure cross-browser compatibility
- Integrate frontend components with blockchain APIs and smart contracts
- Write unit tests and participate in code reviews
- Optimize application performance and loading times
- Collaborate with product and design teams on new feature development
- Debug production issues and implement fixes
Qualifications
- 1+ years of experience with TypeScript and React
- Strong understanding of modern JavaScript (ES6+) and asynchronous programming
- Proficiency with HTML5, CSS3, and CSS preprocessors or CSS-in-JS solutions
- Experience with state management libraries in ReactJS
- Familiarity with RESTful APIs and working with backend services
- Understanding of Git workflows and version control best practices
- Ability to write clean, well-documented code
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Good English communication skills for team collaboration
- Experience with Web3 libraries (ethers.js, web3.js) or Solana development (Anchor, Solana Web3.js) is a strong plus
