We are UAE’s foremost AI and data solutions company, and are seeking an experienced Java Backend Developer to join our rapidly expanding team in Abu Dhabi. We are in Abu Dhabi Stock Exchange-listed firm which has grown from 150 to 2000 employees in just a few years, delivering innovative solutions for high-profile government contracts. We are looking for a skilled developer to build scalable, high-performance backend systems and contribute to transformative projects.

What You’ll Do:

• Design and develop robust RESTful APIs and backend services using Java (preferably 20+) and Spring Boot.
• Create secure, scalable microservices for cloud-native environments.
• Collaborate with DevOps teams to deploy applications using Docker and Kubernetes.
• Write clean, testable code and ensure system reliability through rigorous testing and performance optimization.
• Stay current with industry trends and drive continuous improvement in development practices.

What You Bring:

• 5+ years of backend development experience with expertise in Java, Spring Boot, and microservices architecture.
• Proficiency in SQL/NoSQL databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, Elasticsearch) and message brokers (e.g., Kafka, RabbitMQ).
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines, Docker, Kubernetes, and DevOps principles.
• Strong problem-solving skills, a commitment to writing clean code, and the ability to thrive in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.
• Familiarity with Python or other programming languages is a plus.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Willingness to relocate to Abu Dhabi.
