Job Description
NLB Guardian™ is an innovative safety product designed for runners and athletes, aiming to blend protection and usability in a seamless mobile experience. As we move into the prototype phase, we are seeking a freelance UX/UI Designer to create a functional, accessible app mockup for both iOS and Android platforms. The role involves defining user flows, designing intuitive screens, and developing interactive prototypes to support early feedback from users, investors, and partners. You will work closely with the founder, ensuring the design aligns with core branding and product vision. This is a fully remote opportunity, but applicants must be based in the United States, with preference for those in New England. The project is scheduled to begin in mid-November, with final delivery expected by December 15th and potential for future collaboration.
Deliverables
- Design and deliver a comprehensive mobile app mockup for iOS and Android
- Define and document user flows for key app features
- Create interactive prototypes for user testing and stakeholder presentations
- Incorporate core branding elements and ensure visual consistency
- Provide all source files in Figma
- Collaborate directly with the founder for feedback and iteration
- Ensure accessibility and usability best practices are followed
- Proven experience designing mobile apps, preferably in fitness, safety, or lifestyle sectors
- Advanced proficiency with Figma and prototyping tools
- Strong portfolio demonstrating user flow definition and interactive prototypes
- Deep understanding of accessibility and usability standards
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to deliver high-quality work within tight deadlines
- Must be based in the United States; preference for New England applicants
- Availability to start mid-November and deliver by December 15th
