Role Overview
We’re looking for a Quality Assurance Engineer to design, develop, and execute exploratory and automated tests to ensure product quality and performance across our platforms.
Key Responsibilities
- Review requirements and technical documentation to ensure test coverage and clarity.
- Develop detailed test plans, test cases, and test scripts aligned with project goals.
- Design and execute automation tests using open-source tools (Selenium, JMeter).
- Identify, document, and track defects through resolution.
- Conduct regression, performance, and API testing (Postman, JMeter).
- Collaborate closely with product, engineering, and DevOps teams within Agile/Scrum cycles.
- Maintain QA metrics and support continuous improvement in testing processes.
- Stay current with emerging automation frameworks and QA tools.
Experience & Skills Required
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
- 5+ years of experience in software QA and test automation.
- Solid understanding of QA methodologies, SDLC, and defect lifecycle management.
- Hands-on experience with Selenium, JMeter, Postman, and CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD).
- Experience in database testing (MySQL); exposure to Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud services is a plus.
- Proven ability to work in Agile/Scrum environments, ideally within tech, AI, or analytics-focused teams.
