About The Company

Sift is a pioneering technology company dedicated to transforming how modern machines are built, tested, and operated. Our innovative platform provides engineers with real-time observability over high-frequency telemetry data, effectively eliminating bottlenecks and enabling faster, more reliable development cycles. Founded by a team with experience from SpaceX, Google, and Palantir, Sift specializes in mission-critical systems where precision, scalability, and reliability are paramount. Our roots in space exploration projects such as Dragon, Falcon, Starlink, and Starship have driven us to develop infrastructure capable of handling complex telemetry, debugging flight systems, and ensuring mission success. We are committed to building foundational systems that support the most demanding engineering challenges, fostering an environment where technical excellence and innovative problem-solving thrive.

  • Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams on service design and implementation
  • Demonstrated capability to write clean, maintainable, and scalable code

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain full-stack features for our web application and backend data processing systems
  • Create user-friendly interfaces for data exploration and visualization of large, real-time telemetry datasets
  • Implement efficient APIs and data access patterns to support real-time data streaming and analytics
  • Collaborate with data platform and frontend teams to design scalable, reliable services
  • Participate in technical design discussions, code reviews, and system architecture planning
  • Write clean, well-documented, and maintainable code adhering to best practices
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of the platform’s performance, security, and scalability

Benefits

  • Competitive salary range of $150,000 - $200,000 per year
  • Equity options to share in the company's growth and success
