Android Developer (Remote - India)

This role offers an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic mobile development team focused on creating advanced applications for the transportation industry. You will work on complex Android projects integrating hardware components such as Electronic Logging Devices, Accident Prevention Cameras, and Fleet Management Routing Applications. The position requires hands-on development, testing, and research while collaborating with backend developers and design teams to deliver high-quality products. You will have ownership over your projects, ensuring applications are robust, scalable, and user-friendly. This role is ideal for someone eager to learn, innovate, and contribute to products that make a tangible impact. The position is fully remote, requiring availability from 2 PM to 11 PM IST to align with US-based management.

Accountabilities

• Develop, test, and maintain Android applications from scratch
• Integrate Android applications with APIs and collaborate with backend developers to implement features
• Take full ownership of product development, testing, and R&D efforts
• Work with design documentation and cross-functional teams to bring customer projects into production
• Scale applications efficiently while ensuring performance and usability
• Perform detailed personal testing to maintain high-quality standards
• Collaborate with a remote team of developers to define, design, and deliver new features
  
  
  

Requirements

• Graduate degree in Computer Science or a related field
• 1-6 years of experience developing Android applications, with at least one published on the Play Store
• Strong technical knowledge of Android development and mobile software architecture
• Proficiency in integrating mobile applications with APIs and backend systems
• Experience with Git or other source code version control tools
• Ability to work autonomously and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
• Strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and a desire to learn and innovate
