We are looking for a knowledgeable and proactive Database Administrator to join our partner team. In this role, you will play a key part in maintaining the stability, scalability and efficiency of our enterprise database systems.
The right candidate will have a strong passion for infrastructure, thrive in cross-functional collaboration and bring hands-on experience with both traditional relational databases and modern data technologies.
Main Responsibilities:
- Manage, monitor and fine-tune database systems to ensure optimal performance and high availability.
- Work closely with DevOps, engineering and product teams to ensure infrastructure aligns with organizational goals.
- Contribute to planning meetings and daily stand-ups to support ongoing infrastructure projects.
- Diagnose and resolve database issues in both development and production environments.
- Proven expertise with Microsoft SQL Server, including setup, performance optimization, backup/recovery and security management.
- Practical experience with MongoDB, covering deployment, replication, indexing and query performance.
- Experience using Azure Data Factory or comparable ETL/integration tools to automate and orchestrate data processes.
- Strong grasp of database design principles, architecture, and integration methodologies.
- Familiarity with infrastructure planning and content management systems is an advantage.
- Excellent written and verbal communication, with strong documentation abilities.
- Experience working with cloud-based database services and automation frameworks.
- Confidence in leading technical discussions and contributing to long-term infrastructure strategies.
