Quality Assurance Tester (469175)

IDR is seeking a QA Tester to join one of our top clients for a remote opportunity. This role is within the public sector, supporting state-level projects related to healthcare and eligibility systems. The position offers a chance to work on critical government initiatives in a fully remote setting.

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and execute comprehensive test cases for functional, regression, integration, and user acceptance testing (UAT).
• Develop automated test scripts to validate system functionality and performance across modules and interfaces.
• Identify, document, and track defects through resolution, ensuring timely follow-up with development and business teams.
• Validate data accuracy, system workflows, and business rule compliance across integrated eligibility and HIX systems.
• Collaborate closely with development, QA, and business analysts to ensure alignment with project requirements and deliverables.

Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience in software testing, including automation, manual, functional, and integration testing.
• Strong understanding of Integrated Eligibility (IE) systems and Health Insurance Exchange (HIX) platforms.
• Proficiency with test automation tools such as Selenium, UFT, or Tosca.
• Solid experience writing and executing SQL queries for backend validation.
• Must have a strong background in BOTH Manual & Automation testing experience.
• Strong knowledge of SDLC and defect management tools (e.g., JIRA, ALM, Azure DevOps).
