Job Description


Robert Half's marketing and creative client is seeking a Graphic Designer for a 5+ month contract role. This fully remote, 20 - 40-hour-per-week opportunity requires candidates to be available to work eastern (EST) hours. The ideal candidate will have prior experience in experiential, tradeshow, or large-scale event design and must provide a portfolio showcasing relevant work samples. The Graphic Designer will play a key role in supporting the production and design of large-scale experiential projects. The focus of the role will be on creating high-quality, production-ready graphics, refining typography, and adapting designs for a wide range of environmental surfaces and installations

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with art directors and other teams to translate design concepts into production-ready artwork
  • Prepare precise files, including specifications like tight bleeds and scaled layouts
  • Leverage advanced typography skills to create impactful designs while innovating within brand guidelines
  • Coordinate the final delivery and packaging of creative assets for production teams


Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of experience as a Graphic Designer, ideally with a focus on experiential, tradeshow, or large-scale event environments
  • Strong proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite, particularly Adobe Illustrator
  • Portfolio of relevant design samples
  • Deep understanding of typography and expertise in adapting designs for large-scale production
  • Strong attention to detail, particularly regarding scaling, file preparation, and production nuances
  • Ability to collaborate effectively across teams and adapt to fast-paced, project-based environments
  • Strong communication and project management skills


Portfolio Requirement:

Candidates must share a portfolio showcasing their prior experience in tradeshows, large-scale installations, or experiential events. Work samples should highlight typography, large-scale design, and an understanding of environmental application.
