About The Role

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Human Resources Manager to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for leading and managing all HR functions with professionalism, discretion, and a focus on cultivating a positive workplace culture. You will serve as a trusted partner to leadership and staff, overseeing compliance, employee relations, recruitment, benefits administration, and talent development initiatives. You will independently manage a broad scope of HR activities, ensuring alignment with legal standards and best practices, while fostering a supportive and inclusive workplace culture.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (preferred) or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum of 3+ years of hands-on HR management experience.
  • Proficiency in HRIS systems such as Paylocity (preferred) or similar platforms.
  • Strong skills in Microsoft Office Suite and Google Workspace.
  • In-depth knowledge of federal and state employment laws and HR best practices.
  • Exceptional communication, organizational, and conflict resolution skills.
  • Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.
  • High attention to detail, professionalism, and confidentiality.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws; maintain up-to-date knowledge of HR regulations and trends.
  • Create, review, and update job descriptions to accurately reflect roles and responsibilities.
  • Oversee Paylocity HRIS functions, including payroll processing, benefits administration, reporting, and employee record management.
  • Manage employee onboarding processes, including background checks, credentialing, and orientation programs to ensure a seamless integration.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for employee relations; facilitate sensitive conversations, mediate conflicts, and maintain confidentiality.
  • Administer employee benefits programs, including health, dental, vision, life insurance, and wellness initiatives.
  • Coordinate employee engagement, recognition, and professional development programs to promote a positive work environment.
  • Manage the full recruitment cycle, from job posting and candidate screening to interviewing and extending offers.
  • Conduct performance reviews and identify opportunities for employee growth and development.
  • Develop and implement HR policies, procedures, and best practices to support organizational goals.
