About the Position
We are looking for a highly skilled Senior LLMs Engineer to join an exciting internal AI initiative for a leading client in the automotive industry. The successful candidate will be the primary developer responsible for building an AI-driven tool that uses LLMs to automatically generate TypeSpec and TypeScript code by analyzing API specifications in various formats. The project incorporates human-in-the-loop workflows to allow review and validation of generated code via pull requests and leverages frameworks like LangGraph to orchestrate AI agents and processes.
Responsibilities
- Lead the development of an internal AI tool that automates code generation from API specifications.
- Implement server-side applications using Node.js and TypeScript.
- Work with AI/LLM development frameworks such as LangGraph.
- Design and consume RESTful APIs.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to understand and refine project requirements.
- Integrate human-in-the-loop review processes using pull requests.
- Ensure code quality, scalability, and maintainability.
Requirements
- Proven experience developing applications in TypeScript.
- Strong experience with Node.js in building server-side applications.
- Solid understanding and hands-on experience with REST APIs.
- Experience with or a strong willingness to learn AI/LLM frameworks such as LangGraph.
- Advanced English communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Time zone compatibility with Latin America.
Nice To Have
- Experience with Nest.js.
- Familiarity with AWS and/or Google Cloud environments.
- Experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
- Background in implementing AI applications involving LLMs.
- Knowledge of TypeSpec specifications.
- Experience with prompt engineering and fine-tuning LLMs (e.g., ChatGPT, Gemini, Claude), particularly for code generation.
