Job Description
Join an exciting opportunity to bring new comic book projects to life as a freelance illustrator. You will be responsible for creating visually compelling comic book pages, including both lettering and coloring, for two upcoming titles. This role is ideal for artists passionate about storytelling through sequential art and who are looking for a single project with the potential for ongoing collaboration. The position is fully remote, offering flexibility and creative autonomy.
Deliverables
- Create 16-20 fully illustrated comic book pages per project
- Design and execute 5-6 panels per page, ensuring narrative clarity and visual impact
- Complete all lettering and coloring for each page
- Collaborate closely to ensure the artistic vision aligns with project goals
- Deliver high-resolution, print-ready files within agreed timelines
- Demonstrated expertise in comic book illustration, including sequential art, character design, and dynamic panel composition
- Proficiency in digital illustration tools such as Adobe Photoshop, Clip Studio Paint, or equivalent
- Strong skills in both lettering and coloring for comics
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
- Excellent communication skills and openness to feedback
- Portfolio showcasing previous comic book or graphic novel work
- Availability for remote collaboration and potential long-term partnership
