Senior Full Stack Engineer, AI Platform & Agents

This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a Senior Full Stack Engineer, AI Platform & Agents in the United States.

This role offers the opportunity to design and build a central AI platform that empowers product teams to rapidly develop, validate, and deploy AI agents across critical domains such as healthcare, legal, tax, and compliance. You will work in a remote-first, high-autonomy environment with a globally distributed team, taking complex problems from concept to production. The position involves building full-stack applications, developing AI agents, shaping platform capabilities, and ensuring secure, reliable, and scalable systems. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, implement CI/CD and observability, and directly contribute to AI solutions that impact millions of users worldwide. Strong problem-solving skills, cloud expertise, and experience in AI agent development are key to success.

Accountabilities:

• Design and implement full-stack applications and AI agent platform components using TypeScript, Node.js, React, Python, and cloud services (AWS, Azure, GCP)
• Build developer tooling, CI/CD pipelines, and observability for safe and fast iteration of AI agents
• Apply secure SDLC and privacy-by-design principles, including threat modeling and least-privilege access
• Collaborate with product, UX, and domain experts to deliver customer-focused, measurable outcomes
• Implement LLM patterns (RAG, retrieval, routing, tool-use, evaluation) to improve reliability, speed, and safety of AI systems
• Lead by example through writing high-quality, maintainable code and mentoring team members
• Participate in hybrid or remote collaboration with 9-11 AM CST overlap and occasional on-site events as needed
  
  
  

Requirements

• 5+ years of professional software engineering experience
• Strong full-stack development skills with expertise in at least one of backend, frontend, AI agent development, or cloud services (AWS/Azure/GCP)
• Experience with CI/CD, infrastructure as code, site reliability engineering, and quality engineering/testing strategies
• Knowledge of secure SDLC practices and privacy-by-design implementation
• Proven track record delivering secure, reliable, cloud-native systems to production
• Excellent problem-solving skills, ownership mindset, and cross-functional communication abilities
• Familiarity with modern AI/LLM tools and patterns, including LangChain/LangGraph, MCP/A2A, and vector/RAG systems, is a plus
• Understanding of regulatory frameworks such as SOC2 or HIPAA is desirable
