Job Role: Salesforce Test Lead

Compensation range: $2,000 AUD - $3,000 AUD / Monthly

Engagement type: Independent Contractor Agreement

Work Schedule: This role is expected to align with the AU business hours (approx. 9 AM - 5 PM, Monday to Friday) for collaboration, but as a contractor, you'll have flexibility in how you manage your time.

Role Overview: This is a crucial role in our Technology team, responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of Stream™, our core business platform on Salesforce. You will be the champion of quality for our platform, establishing our testing strategy, developing comprehensive test plans, and leading the execution of all testing activities. This is a hands-on role where you will not only manage the testing process but also actively write and execute test cases to guarantee a stable, intuitive, and bug-free experience for our team and clients. When not actively testing, you will contribute to building our knowledge base by developing user guides and standard operating procedures and other change management tasks, as well as helping us move towards test automation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, write, and execute detailed test cases and test scripts for new features and
  
  

enhancements on the Salesforce platform.

• Build and maintain a comprehensive inventory of regression test cases to ensure
  
  

existing functionality remains stable and unaffected by new releases.

• Execute various testing types, including progression, regression, negative, and
  
  

exploratory testing, to identify and document defects in Jira.

• Track, analyze, and report on test execution progress, defect metrics, and overall test
  
  

coverage to stakeholders.

• Partner closely with developers and business analysts to understand requirements,
  
  

identify potential issues early, and ensure testability.

• Collaborate with the project team to create and update user guides, training materials,
  
  

and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to ensure smooth user adoption.

• Own the end-to-end testing lifecycle, from test planning and design to execution and
  
  

reporting.

• Assist business users with User Acceptance Testing (UAT) including developing
  
  

appropriate test cases and ensuring completion of UAT with adequate test coverage.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• 3-5+ years of proven experience as a Test Analyst, QA Engineer, or Test Lead, with a
  
  

strong understanding of different testing methodologies (e.g., progression, regression,

negative, exploratory).

• Direct experience testing on the Salesforce platform is a big plus
• Experience with test automation tools (e.g., Selenium, Provar, Tosca, others) is a
  
  

significant advantage.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a meticulous attention to detail
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to clearly document test cases, bug
  
  

reports, and user guides.

• Experience using Jira or a similar tool for defect tracking and test management
• A proactive and collaborative team player, comfortable working closely with technical
  
  

and non-technical stakeholders.
