Senior DevOps Engineer (EU Remote)

This is a fully remote job on Luxembourg time zone. Only citizens of the European Union will be considered for this position.

Infatuated is looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer with a strong software development background to join a high-profile, long-term project for a European Institution. You’ll design and evolve cloud-native delivery platforms, raise deployment speed and reliability, and embed best practices across engineering teams.

• Own CI/CD at scale: design, build, and maintain robust CI/CD pipelines (e.g. YAML-first) and release processes across services and environments.
• Cloud-native platform engineering: build and operate containerized workloads (e.g., Kubernetes/AKS), registries, artifact management, and environment automation.
• Infrastructure as Code: define and version infrastructure (e.g., Terraform/Bicep/Helm), enforce Git-based workflows, and champion immutable, reproducible environments.
• Observability & reliability: implement logging/metrics/tracing, SLOs/error budgets, and incident response with post-mortems; drive continuous improvement.
• Security by design: integrate secrets management, supply-chain security, policy-as-code, and shift-left testing into pipelines.
• Partner with dev teams: advise on build/test/deploy patterns, performance, cost, and operability; mentor engineers on DevOps/SRE practices.

• 8+ years in DevOps/SRE/software engineering with a developer mindset (e.g., C#, Python, or Go) and solid debugging/optimization skills.
• Hands-on CI/CD: Azure DevOps and/or Jenkins, with deep Git expertise and pipeline automation for multi-service systems.
• Containers & orchestration: production experience with Kubernetes (AKS or similar), Helm, and container tooling.
• IaC & config management: Terraform/Bicep (and/or Ansible/Pulumi), environment templating, and GitOps practices.
• Cloud proficiency: Azure services for networking, compute, storage, identity, monitoring, and key management.
• Strong focus on reliability, security, and automation; excellent communication in English and collaborative attitude.
