Senior Systems & Cloud Operations Engineer (EU Remote)

This is a fully remote job on Luxembourg time zone. Only citizens of the European Union will be considered for this position.

Infatuated is looking for a Senior Systems & Cloud Operations Engineer to strengthen the internal IT and infrastructure backbone of a high-profile European Institution. This is an internal-facing role supporting employees, applications, and services across multiple teams and environments.

• Troubleshoot and resolve complex infrastructure and application issues (2nd/3rd line), ensuring business continuity.
• Maintain and optimize cloud-based environments and core infrastructure services.
• Monitor and support internal platforms, proactively identifying and fixing issues before they escalate.
• Collaborate with technical teams to improve system reliability, automate recurring tasks, and document solutions.
• Use Jira and ITSM tools to manage and prioritize incidents, problems, and service requests.

• 5+ years of experience in infrastructure operations, system administration, or technical support in complex environments.
• Hands-on with cloud-based apps and services (e.g., Microsoft 365, Azure, or similar).
• Strong understanding of networks, authentication, and system maintenance.
• Solid troubleshooting skills with the ability to investigate root causes and provide sustainable fixes.
• Experience working with Jira or other ITSM platforms.
• Excellent communication skills and a customer-first mindset, supporting colleagues with professionalism and clarity.

Nice to have: Scripting/automation skills (PowerShell, Bash, Python), monitoring/alerting tools, experience in regulated or enterprise environments.
