This position REQUIRES 8 years of testing experience within the Healthcare Payor industry.Must have strong functional testing, ability to read requirements, create test cases, execute test cases, and report defects.

Must have strong 837 claims testing expertise.

This position is fully remote, however, we are seeking candidates that reside in the EST timezone

Our direct client is seeking a Functional/Manual QA Tester with specific experience in Healthcare Claims Testing (837 specifically). We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Tester with a strong background in healthcare and claims testing with having over 8 years of hands-on testing experience across multiple projects, with a proven ability to work in Agile and scrum teams, coordinate across onshore-offshore teams, and drive quality outcomes using tools like JIRA.

Lead and execute end-to-end testing for healthcare and claims-related applications.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams during Scrum and PI Planning sessions to define test strategies and acceptance criteria.

Manage testing activities across multiple concurrent projects, ensuring timely delivery and high-quality standards.

Coordinate effectively with onshore and offshore teams, ensuring alignment on test plans, execution, and defect management.

Utilize JIRA for test case management, defect tracking, and reporting.

Participate in Agile ceremonies including daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.

Ensure compliance with healthcare domain standards and data privacy regulations during testing.

Identify, document, and track defects, and work closely with development teams for resolution.

Continuously improve testing processes and contribute to automation initiatives where applicable. This position is fully remote, however, we are seeking candidates that reside in the EST timezone.
