We’re looking for a talented Founding AI Engineer based in Indonesia to join our growing AI team. In this role, you'll work closely with our Head of AI and a team of skilled engineers to design and build next-generation intelligent systems that serve millions of users across the region.

What You’ll Do

• Build and ship production-grade machine learning models for high-impact use cases
• Contribute to model architecture, data pipeline design, and deployment strategies
• Collaborate across engineering, data, and product teams to drive AI initiatives
• Support the full ML lifecycle — from data preprocessing and model training to monitoring in production
• Write clean, scalable, and well-documented code
• Stay up to date with the latest developments in AI/ML, and contribute ideas to improve our systems and workflows
• Participate in code reviews and technical discussions with peers

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
• 3–6 years of experience in AI/ML engineering with real-world deployment experience
• Proficient in Python and familiar with ML frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, or Scikit-learn
• Solid understanding of machine learning workflows, from data preprocessing to model evaluation
• Experience working on applied AI use cases (e.g., recommendation systems, fraud detection, risk scoring, NLP, etc.)
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Comfortable working remotely and collaborating with regional teams
• Based in Indonesia with Remote working set up
  
  

Nice to Have

• Experience with MLOps tools like MLflow, Airflow, Docker, or cloud platforms (e.g., GCP, AWS)
• Familiarity with responsible AI practices (fairness, interpretability, model governance)
• Experience working in a startup or scale-up environment
