Freelance Java Spring Boot Engineer – SC Cleared - Fully Remote (UK Only) | Central Government Programme

We’re building a high-performance engineering team for a major UK Central Government transformation programme and are looking for an experienced Java Spring Boot Engineer with active SC Clearance to join immediately.

This is a chance to work on secure, large-scale cloud services that make a real impact — while using AI tools like Claude AI + GitHub Copilot to accelerate delivery and engineering excellence.

✅ What we're looking for:

✔️ Active SC Clearance (essential)

✔️ Strong Java + Spring Boot microservices experience

✔️ AWS or Azure background

✔️ CI/CD + GitHub

✔️ Public Sector experience
