BACKEND DEVELOPER - JAVA / SPRING / ANGULAR (REMOTE)

Portuguese company hires for remote work

Location: anywhere

Work model: 100% remote

We are looking for a skilled Fullstack Developer with expertise in Java (Spring), Angular, Jenkins, RabbitMQ, and Apache Kafka. The ideal candidate will develop and maintain backend applications, implement CI/CD pipelines, manage asynchronous messaging systems, and build modern, responsive frontend interfaces.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain backend applications using Java with Spring Framework.
  • Implement CI/CD pipelines with Jenkins.
  • Integrate and manage asynchronous messaging systems using RabbitMQ and Apache Kafka.
  • Develop modern, responsive user interfaces with Angular.
  • Contribute to system architecture design and participate in technical decision-making.

Technical Requirements

  • Proven experience with Java and Spring Boot.
  • Strong knowledge of Jenkins for CI/CD.
  • Hands-on experience with RabbitMQ and Apache Kafka.
  • Proficiency in Angular (recent versions).
  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban).
  • Ability to work in collaborative, results-driven environments.
  • Fluent in English.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in cloud environments (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
  • Knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Proactive and results-oriented.
  • Ability to adapt to dynamic and fast-paced environments.

Education

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
