Let's connect: If you want to experience how things are done in the GIT Governance team at our headquarters in Hannover / Germany, join us on a permanent basis, commencing at the earliest possible date as a Senior IT License Manager.
You can look forward to
- Monitoring and management of all software licences within the company, with a focus on keeping them up to date and ensuring accurate documentation of licences, contracts, and compliance activities (e.g. using Flexera).
- Ensuring compliance with all licensing terms and preparing for audits.
- Developing and implementing strategies to optimise licence usage, including the identification and assessment of risks.
- Managing and updating licence agreements, including negotiating terms with software vendors.
- Creating regular reports on licence status and usage for management.
- Training employees in the handling of software licences and providing advice on selection and usage.
- In-depth understanding of software licensing, including various licence types and models.
- Many years of professional experience in managing software licences, ideally with SAP and in the role of CCOE or with other major software vendors.
- Knowledge of the legal aspects of software licensing, including compliance requirements.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills in German and ideally also in English, as well as enjoyment in working collaboratively within teams and across departments.
