Machine Learning Engineer

Job Title: Machine Learning Engineer - W2 only - we can provide sponsorship as well

Duration: Long Term

Location: Westlake, TX/Smithfield, RI - Local preferred - Hybrid

Must Have:

• Python,
• ML background,
• Prompt Engineering (manager wants to see how candidates are specifically leveraging this in an AI capacity on the resume).

The Expertise and Skills You Bring

• 8+ years of IT expericne required.
• Solid 5+ years hands on development as Machine Learning Engineer.
• Strong programming skills in Python and Java.
• Experience with working on Gen AI solutions with Large Language Models, LangChain, LlamaIndex, Prompt Engineering and Fine tuning.
• Solid experience with developing python-based APIs needed (FastAPI / Flask).
• Design and develop machine learning and deep learning systems using ML (Machine Learning) algorithms / frameworks.
• Demonstrated work experience using AWS services: Deploy the models in Sagemaker, cloud-based data platforms like Snowflake or RDS for analytics data hosting. EC2/EKS compute set-up.
• Work with data to create models and perform statistical analysis, train and retrain models to optimize performance.
• Run machine learning tests and experiments.
• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience.
