Business Analyst II - Growth & Support (Hybrid - San Diego)
Our client, a leading provider of renewable energy solutions, is seeking a Business Analyst 2 to join their growing IT Development and Integration team in beautiful downtown San Diego!
About the Role:
In this mid-level Business Analyst role, you will play a key role in supporting business expansion by gathering requirements, documenting processes, and collaborating with stakeholders to deliver effective IT solutions. You will work closely with a tenured team in a fun and collaborative environment (think cookie days!).
- Responsibilities:Partner with business units to understand their needs, processes, and goals.
- Translate business requirements into clear and concise technical specifications.
- Develop and maintain detailed business requirements documentation.
- Serve as the primary liaison between the business and development teams.
- Manage user requests and issues, providing timely updates to stakeholders.
- Participate in user testing and identify opportunities for test automation.
- Leverage project management tools (Jira, Azure DevOps) and data analytics tools (Power BI, SQL queries).
- Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
- 2-4 years of experience as a Business Analyst or similar role.
- Strong understanding of SDLC methodologies (Agile preferred).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a "bedside manner" for clear and patient explanation.
- Ability to break down complex processes, identify requirements, and create test scenarios.
- Experience working in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
- Proficiency in MS SQL queries a plus.
