Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) - Global Hedge Fund - Singapore (open to relocation)

We are partnering with a highly prestigious global hedge fund seeking talented Site Reliability Engineers (SREs) to join their elite technology team. This is a rare opportunity to work in one of the world’s most sophisticated trading environments, where technology and automation underpin multi-billion-dollar global investment strategies. This role is open to 4+ years of commercial experience.

You will be responsible for designing and implementing resilient, scalable, and highly automated infrastructure solutions that support mission-critical trading systems. This role combines deep technical expertise in software engineering and systems reliability — you’ll build tools and platforms to optimize performance, reduce operational overhead, and ensure flawless system uptime across a complex global production environment.

This position is ideal for a software engineer or SRE with a passion for automation, reliability, and performance optimization in high-availability, high-throughput systems.

We are open to candidates from non-finance backgrounds who have strong fundamentals in distributed systems, production engineering, and automation.

What we’re ideally looking for:

• Strong proficiency in Python for building automation tools, infrastructure services, and system integrations.
• Proven experience in Site Reliability Engineering, DevOps, or Production Support roles within complex, large-scale environments.
• Solid understanding of Linux systems, networking fundamentals, and monitoring/observability frameworks (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, Datadog).
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines, configuration management, and infrastructure-as-code tools (e.g., Ansible, Terraform, Jenkins).
• Familiarity with cloud environments (AWS, GCP, or private cloud) and containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to operate effectively under pressure in mission-critical environments.
