Salesforce Engineers – Senior Level - Multiple Roles available
Location: Melbourne, VIC - hybrid
Type: Contract - 6 months with potential to extend or become permanent
We’re hiring a range of Salesforce/nCino experts to join our client's Salesforce engineering team. These roles are hands-on, high-impact positions focused on designing, developing, and delivering complex Salesforce solutions across cloud platforms and enterprise domains. Strong banking experience is highly desirable for this role. Please note, Sponsorship opportunities are also available.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, and implement Salesforce solutions (APEX, Lightning)
- Solve complex technical challenges and contribute hands-on to codebases
- Collaborate across teams to align technical efforts with business outcomes
- Maintain CI/CD pipelines and troubleshoot integrations
- Evaluate new Salesforce releases and ensure code modularity and maintainability
- Set technical direction and standards across teams
- Lead large-scale product development from inception to delivery
- Mentor and sponsor engineers to elevate team capability
- Influence technical outcomes across portfolios
- Languages/Frameworks: Java, Apex, JavaScript
- Salesforce: 8+ years experience, multiple certifications required, highly regarded
- Cloud Platforms: Salesforce Cloud, AWS, Azure, GCP
- DevOps Tools: GitHub/GitLab, CI/CD (Copado), Odaseva
- Bonus: nCino product knowledge
- Proven track record of delivering Salesforce products (GitHub/GitLab examples required)
- Experience in complex domains (e.g., Banking, Finance, Aerospace)
- Strong foundation in data structures, algorithms, OOP, and design principles
- Demonstrated leadership and mentoring capabilities (Staff)
- Strategic thinking and high organizational impact (Staff)
