We’re growing our backend and infrastructure capabilities and hiring a skilled WordPress Developer who thrives in enterprise environments. This role requires deep experience with WordPress architecture, high-traffic performance tuning, and secure deployment on Linux-based servers or modern cloud platforms.

🛠 Responsibilities

• Develop, customize, and maintain high-performance WordPress websites and plugins
• Set up, configure, and manage enterprise-grade WordPress servers (Linux, Nginx/Apache)
• Optimize website performance (load time, database, caching, front-end)
• Implement and manage DNS, SSL certificates, backups, and monitoring tools
• Conduct regular audits focused on security, scalability, and uptime
• Troubleshoot and resolve server and website-level issues efficiently
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (design, product, DevOps) in an agile environment
• Stay up to date with the latest in WordPress core, hosting, and security best practices

✅ Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience building and managing custom WordPress websites
• Proficiency in PHP, MySQL, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript
• In-depth knowledge of WordPress architecture, core, actions, filters, and theme/plugin development
• Strong experience with Linux-based hosting, VPS, or cloud platforms like AWS, Google Cloud, or DigitalOcean
• Demonstrated skills in WordPress performance tuning and security hardening
• Familiarity with Git, version control, and deployment processes
• Experience with CDN integration (e.g., Cloudflare, Akamai, Fastly)
• Knowledge of database caching and acceleration tools (e.g., Redis, Memcached, Varnish)
