Are you a backend expert ready to take on a high-impact challenge? We're looking for a Senior Backend Engineer to help us integrate a new payment system into our platform—powering seamless, secure transactions for users around the globe.
🌍 About the Role
As part of our engineering team, you’ll lead the backend development efforts for integrating a modern payment solution. You’ll work in a fully remote, multicultural environment, collaborating with product, data, and DevOps teams to deliver a scalable and reliable system.
🔧 Your Skillset Includes:
- Strong proficiency in Java or Kotlin
- Deep experience with Spring Boot and the Spring ecosystem
- Solid understanding of MySQL or other relational databases
- Experience with AWS and cloud-native development
- Familiarity with Liquibase or similar schema management tools
- Hands-on with Git, Kafka, Firehose, and CI/CD tools like Jenkins or GitHub Actions
- Knowledge of APIs, microservices architecture, and server-side processes
- Experience with monitoring tools like Grafana or Datadog
- Excellent communication skills in English and a proactive, ownership-driven mindset
