Senior SAP Commerce Cloud Developer

TechDelivery is seeking a Senior SAP Commerce Cloud Developer to join a leading international healthcare digital initiative. You will contribute to the backend development of a high-performance, API-driven commerce platform designed for global operations.

This position is ideal for engineers who are passionate about building scalable, secure commerce solutions and collaborating across diverse, cross-functional teams.

• Backend Development with SAP Commerce Cloud (Hybris 2005+):
• Customize and extend core modules such as Product Catalog, Cart, Checkout, User Management, and Order Processing.
• API Design & Documentation:
• Design and expose secure, scalable RESTful APIs using SAP OCC. Document them with OpenAPI/Swagger to ensure alignment and clarity.
• Testing & Quality Assurance:
• Develop robust unit and integration tests using JUnit, Mockito, or Spock. Ensure backend resilience and consistency.
• Performance & Security Optimization:
• Apply best practices for secure authentication (e.g., OAuth2, JWT), backend performance tuning, and load management.
• Continuous Deployment & DevOps Integration:
• Work within CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitLab CI, or Azure DevOps. Contribute to containerization with Docker and deployments on Kubernetes.
• Team Collaboration:
• Participate in Agile ceremonies. Collaborate with frontend (Angular/React) developers, product owners, and UX designers to deliver integrated solutions.
  

• Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience with SAP Commerce Cloud (Hybris).
• Involvement in at least one international project.
• Strong knowledge of Java (8+) and Spring Framework (Core, MVC, Security).
• Proven experience building and documenting RESTful APIs.
• Experience with unit testing frameworks and automated build pipelines.
• Fluency in English, both written and spoken (required for daily communication).
  

• Experience with headless commerce architecture or frontend frameworks like Spartacus, React, or Angular.
• Familiarity with SAP S/4HANA or SAP ERP integrations via SAP CPI/PI.
• Cloud-native experience (Azure, GCP, SAP Public Cloud).
• Exposure to microservices, GraphQL, Kafka, or RabbitMQ.
• SAP Commerce certifications are a plus.
