Gdańsk/Warsaw - hybrid model
We are seeking a Lead Java Developer to drive software development projects in the payments area. This role offers the opportunity to lead a team of talented developers, collaborate with various stakeholders, and ensure the delivery of high-quality solutions across our distributed development teams.
Responsibilities:
- Lead a team of software developers to achieve project goals.
- Understand and gather requirements from various stakeholders.
- Develop solutions towards the deliverables (development work).
- Review the deliveries and ensure they meet the desired quality standards.
- Act as a gatekeeper for quality, especially when the development team is distributed across different geographies.
Requirements:
- At least 12 years of experience in Java software development.
- Very strong knowledge and hands-on experience with the Spring framework, Spring Boot, and SQL (Postgres or Oracle).
- Practical knowledge of practices like Domain Driven Design, microservices architecture, and clean code principles.
- Ability to design scalable, high-throughput, resilient application architecture.
- Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
Good to have:
- knowledge of CI/CD, Jenkins, Docker, Kubernetes, REST, Maven, and Junit.
- Experience in building distributed, highly available, and high-throughput applications is a plus.
Nice to have:
- knowledge of software security, TDD, UI frameworks, and JavaScript.
