About the role: Software Engineer (Java Developer)

As a Software Engineer (Java Developer), you will play a key role in designing and developing high-quality applications using Spring Boot, PostgreSQL or MySQL, and AWS. You will work on mission-critical software solutions that our customers depend on for reliability and high performance. 

Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement robust, scalable, and world-class RESTful APIs to support various applications.
• Architect, design, develop, and maintain web-based applications and services with a strong focus on Java and Spring Boot for backend development.
• Collaborate with the broader engineering team in software design sessions, code reviews, knowledge sharing, and other development activities.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams, including mobile developers and designers, to ensure seamless integration and user experience.
• Participate in all phases of the software development lifecycle, from planning and design to deployment and maintenance.

What would you need?

• 3+ years of backend development experience with a strong focus on Java and Spring Boot.
• Proven track record of delivering projects that demonstrate expertise in backend development.
• In-depth knowledge and experience in Java and Spring Boot.
• Hands on experience developing scalable and secure RESTful APIs.
• Proficient in working with relational databases, such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, or others.
• Utilizing third-party backend frameworks and libraries.
• Strong critical thinking skills, with the ability to analyze complex problems.
• Experience in frontend development using frameworks like Vue.js, React, or Angular & hands-on experience with cloud infrastructure would be an added advantage.
