Responsibilities:

• Actively participate in all phases of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
• Collaborate with Business Analysts, Developers, and Product Owners to understand functional and non-functional requirements.
• Design, create, and execute detailed manual test cases based on specifications.
• Identify, log, and track defects, ensuring clear documentation and effective communication with development teams.
• Validate fixes and enhancements through regression and exploratory testing.
• Document and maintain test plans, test cases, and test results using Confluence and JIRA.
• Ensure software quality and compliance with client standards, especially related to insurance business logic.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, daily standups, and retrospectives.
• Prepare timely and accurate process and status reports.

Requirements:

• 1+ years of hands-on experience in Manual Quality Assurance.
• Experience with Atlassian tools, especially JIRA for test management and bug tracking, and Confluence for documentation.
• Strong skills in test case design, execution, and documentation.
• Proficient in defect lifecycle management and reporting.
• Experience with regression, exploratory, and integration testing methodologies.
• Understanding of SDLC and Agile testing practices.
• Familiarity with test planning and test coverage analysis.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Experience working in fast-paced, cross-functional teams.
• Intermediate to advanced English proficiency (spoken and written).
• Preferred: API testing experience, test automation exposure, knowledge of Playwright, and familiarity with Agile methodologies, particularly Scrum.
