GenAI NLP Engineer

About the Role:
You'll be developing production-ready NLP systems using the latest in foundation models and semantic search.

This is a hands-on engineering role where you'll work closely with cross-functional teams to bring advanced AI capabilities into customer-facing products.

Responsibilities:

• Design and deploy GenAI-powered NLP systems for analyzing unstructured and domain-specific text
• Implement models for tasks like summarization, text classification, and information extraction
• Collaborate with product and data teams to ensure smooth integration and real-world performance
• Translate ML prototypes into scalable, maintainable backend services
• Stay current on advances in LLMs, transformers, and NLP research.

Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience in NLP engineering
• 2+ years working directly with Generative AI or LLMs
• Strong experience in Python (Go experience is a plus)
• Familiarity with ML frameworks like PyTorch, TensorFlow, or Keras
• Background in deploying or fine-tuning models in production environments
• Excellent collaboration and communication skills
• Fluent English required (Japanese not required)

Preferred:

• Degree in Computer Science, Linguistics, or related fields
• Experience with real-world GenAI use cases
• ML/DL certifications are a plus
