Since early 2024, the team has been collaborating with a renowned global beauty brand to develop a React Native app that has already captivated a worldwide audience. The next phase of work promises to enhance user experience and integrate the app seamlessly into daily lives across the globe.

Role Overview

As a React Native Tech Lead, you will be at the forefront of this exciting journey, guiding the ongoing delivery of the app. You will collaborate with a talented team, including designers, product owners, delivery coaches, and engineers, to build a robust and engaging product. Your role will involve planning and executing work according to a collaboratively-agreed roadmap, managing both the React Native app and the Typescript/GCP backend-for-frontend, and designing and implementing upcoming features.

Key technical skills include:

- Extensive React Native development experience, with a focus on accessibility and automated testing.

- Understanding of the React Native ecosystem, including Expo, and mobile-specific considerations.

- Experience with Swift and/or Kotlin to complement React Native code, particularly around camera functionalities.

- Expertise in secure mobile app development, including secure storage and transport layer security.

- Proficiency in building pixel-perfect UIs for both iOS and Android.

- Strong debugging skills and experience in maintaining high-quality code with automated tests.

- Familiarity with Github, Github Actions, and app signing/release processes.

- Experience with Firebase for app distribution, analytics, and user authentication. Leadership

- Planning and coordinating work across the team to support new features.

- Collaborating with product, design, and delivery teams to balance feasibility, time constraints, UX/design, and quality.

- Acting as a key point of contact for client

-side technologists and resolving external dependencies.

- Leading the application architecture and technical roadmap for the React Native app.
