🚨 The technical challenge: Build the brains of tomorrow’s tramways
We are looking for an Embedded Software Engineer to join a high-impact project focused on the development and deployment of embedded software solutions for tramway control systems. You’ll work in a critical, fast-paced international environment, tackling real-world challenges from design to commissioning.
🎯 Your mission:
- Design and develop embedded software using Control Build
- Model systems in MATLAB / Simulink, particularly for projects based in Charleroi
- Contribute to the integration of TCMS (Train Control & Monitoring Systems)
- Work on power electronics topics and traction converters
- Support commissioning and testing phases
- Take ownership of technical topics and collaborate with international teams
👤 Your profile:
- Background in embedded electronics, automation, or embedded software engineering
- At least 2 years of experience
- Prior experience in the rail industry (tram, metro, train, etc.) is a strong plus
- Exposure to certified or safety-critical environments is highly valued (e.g., EN 50128)
🧰 Technical skills:
- Control Build → mandatory
- MATLAB / Simulink → essential for Charleroi projects
- Experience with TCMS, traction converters, and commissioning → strong assets
- Interest in power electronics
- Fluent in both French and English
