This is a full-time remote opportunity, ideal for professionals passionate about building robust and scalable server-side applications.
About the Role
As a Back End Developer, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining high-performance server-side logic, databases, and APIs that power various digital products. You’ll collaborate closely with front-end developers, product managers, and other team members to deliver seamless and scalable software solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable and secure server-side applications.
- Build and optimize APIs and database structures for performance and reliability.
- Collaborate with front-end developers to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic.
- Troubleshoot and debug applications to ensure functionality and stability.
- Implement best practices in code quality, testing, and performance tuning.
- Stay up to date with emerging technologies and contribute to architectural decisions.
Who You Are
- Proven experience as a Back End Developer or similar role.
- Strong proficiency in back-end technologies such as Node.js, Python, PHP, or Java.
- Solid understanding of RESTful APIs, microservices architecture, and database systems (SQL & NoSQL).
- Experience working with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) is a plus.
- Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git).
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and within remote cross-functional teams.
- Fluent in English; additional languages are an advantage.
