License Logic is a SaaS management platform on a mission to eliminate software waste. We help companies discover contracts, track license usage, automate renewals, and benchmark pricing—all in one elegant dashboard.
Role Overview (20-40/hrs week)
We’re looking for a self‑motivated full‑stack engineer to own features end‑to‑end. You’ll work directly with our founder and small team to design, build, and deploy core product modules—from Chrome agent integration to insights dashboards. This role offers autonomy, direct customer impact, and scope to shape our roadmap.
Key Responsibilities- Collaborate with product and design to translate customer needs into technical requirements
- Build and maintain front‑end features in React (with Tailwind CSS) for dashboards, reports, and admin tools
- Develop and optimize back‑end services in Node.js (Express) or Python (FastAPI)
- Design and manage relational database schemas (PostgreSQL) and ensure data integrity
- Integrate with SSO, HRIS, ERP systems via REST/SOAP APIs and webhooks
- Deploy and monitor cloud infrastructure on AWS (Lambda, ECS/EKS, RDS, S3) using Terraform
- Implement automated testing (unit, integration, E2E) and CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions)
- Troubleshoot production issues, analyze logs, and ship quick fixes when needed
- Contribute to technical architecture discussions and roadmap planning
- 3+ years professional experience as a full‑stack engineer
- Strong proficiency in React and modern JavaScript/TypeScript
- Solid back‑end skills in Node.js or Python frameworks
- Experience with PostgreSQL or similar relational databases
- Hands‑on AWS experience—compute, networking, storage, infra as code
- Familiarity with RESTful API design and integration patterns
- Comfortable writing automated tests and maintaining CI/CD
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
- Proven ability to work independently in a fully remote team
- Chrome extension or agent development experience
- Knowledge of enterprise SSO (SAML, OAuth2)
- Prior work in SaaS spend management, procurement, or FinOps
- Exposure to Docker, Kubernetes, or serverless best practices
- Familiarity with price‑benchmarking tools or data visualization libraries (Recharts, D3)
