We are a VC-backed stealth-mode startup incubated at Harvard and MIT, addressing one of the most urgent crises of our time: the caregiver shortage. As the aging population grows, facilities are struggling to provide timely, high-quality care with limited staff. In the next decade, the number of Americans aged 65 and older is projected to reach 95 million, nearly double the current figure. With 70% of our older adults soon requiring long-term care, the demand for innovative solutions has never been greater. Our AI-powered monitoring system is designed to reduce preventable hospitalizations, enhance care quality, and support caregivers and families while also lessening their financial burden.
Role: Full-Stack Developer:
Mission: Build the core platform for our real-time resident health monitoring system for elderly care facilities.
Location: Remote
Key Responsibilities :
- Frontend Development:Develop a responsive, user-friendly dashboard using React.js and TypeScript, data visualization libraries and Redux.
- Backend Development:Design and build scalable RESTful/WebSocket APIs using Node.js/Express.
- Cloud Integration: Leverage AWS services (S3, EC2, EKS) to build and deploy serverless microservices.
- Database Management: Design and optimize database schemas using PostgreSQL.
- DevOps: Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions and containerize applications using Docker.
- Security: Ensure end-to-end security by integrating AWS Cognito and OAuth 2.0 for authentication and authorization.
- Collaboration: Work with ML engineers to integrate AI models into the platform and ensure seamless functionality.
- SaaS Development: Contribute to the development of a scalable, multi-tenant SaaS platform.
Required Skills :

Preferred:
- Experience with ML Ops tools like MLflow to host, manage, and optimize machine learning models in production environments.
- Student in final years or recent graduate in computer science or any other relevant field.
- Entrepreneurship and "can-do" attitude
- Full-stack experience gained through past projects, hackathons or work experience
- Passion for addressing the challenges related to the aging population.
