React Native Software Engineer (Remote) - Long-term Position

Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Software Engineer based in Guatemala or El Salvador to join our dynamic team in building and maintaining high-quality mobile applications. This is a full-time, remote position with long-term growth and development opportunities.

As a Software Engineer, you will work on challenging projects using cutting-edge technologies while collaborating with a diverse and distributed team. This role offers the opportunity to make significant contributions to the development cycle of high-level products.

Required Technical Skills

• Strong proficiency in modern JavaScript/TypeScript and the React ecosystem
• Proven experience developing with React Native
• Extensive experience with state management solutions (Redux or similar)
• Advanced knowledge of styled-components and CSS-in-JS solutions (e.g., Emotion)
• Deep understanding of optimization techniques in React and memoization
• Experience implementing and maintaining Atomic Design systems
• Proficiency in using React Profiler and performance optimization tools
• Demonstrated ability to build scalable and maintainable applications

Preferred Skills

• Experience with bridging patterns and native-to-web communication
• Knowledge of at least one native development language (Swift, Kotlin, or similar)
• Experience in deploying mobile applications to the App Store and Play Store

Key Requirements

• 1+ years of professional software development experience
• Strong English communication skills (written and spoken)
• Experience working in remote environments
