Junior Data Engineer

HiCareer is hiring on behalf of our client – a fast-growing SaaS startup helping companies automate workflows, integrate internal systems, and make better data-driven decisions. We’re looking for a curious and hands-on Junior Data Engineer to help build and scale the internal data platform and pipelines used across product, ops, and customer teams.

This 40-person company is building powerful internal tooling for modern teams — from workflow automation to internal dashboards and AI-powered assistants.

They're fully remote, with team members in Berlin, Copenhagen, Amsterdam, and London. You can work from anywhere within CET ±2 hours.

🎯 What You’ll Do

You’ll be part of the Data & Infrastructure team (currently 3 people) and collaborate across product, engineering, and operations.

• Build, maintain, and monitor data pipelines and ETL processes
• Collaborate on data models and storage architecture
• Support internal stakeholders with data accessibility and dashboards
• Work with product analytics, BI tools, and integration APIs
• Learn fast, get mentorship, and grow into a key data contributor

Tech Stack:

Python, dbt, SQL, Airbyte, BigQuery, Snowflake, Looker Studio, GitHub

🙋‍♂️ Is this you?

• 1–2 years experience (or internship/bootcamp) in data engineering or similar
• Confident in SQL and familiar with Python
• Curious about how data flows between systems
• Comfortable learning new tools and owning small projects
• Bonus: experience with APIs, cloud data warehouses, or BI tools
