Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain APIs and web applications.
- Contribute to the development of the company's core data platform.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and technologies in data and AI.
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to improving the team's development practices.
- Be adaptable and ready to tackle new challenges as they arise.
Required Skills and Experience:
- Solid foundation in computer science principles.
- Proven experience in software development using languages such as Kotlin, Python, Java or similar.
- Experience with cloud platforms (preferably AWS).
- Familiarity with databases (e.g., MySQL, Redis, Elasticsearch, Snowflake).
- Strong problem-solving skills and a passion for learning.
- Business-level fluency in Japanese is required and some English capabilities is highly desired.
Nice to Have:
- Experience with frameworks/middleware such as Micronaut, gRPC, Apache Pulsar.
- Experience with data pipeline tools such as Dagster or Airflow.
- Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
- Experience in direct client communication, requirements gathering and technical proposal creation
