We are hiring on behalf of a renowned manufacturing company seeking an experienced Project Engineer to lead and execute critical engineering projects. This full-time, remote role is open to candidates within the EMEA region, offering an opportunity to drive impactful projects in a dynamic and innovative work environment.

About the Role

As a Project Engineer, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing engineering projects from planning to execution. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, ensuring that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. Your expertise in technical design, project management, and problem-solving will be essential to the success of each project.

Key Responsibilities

  • Project Planning & Management: Develop comprehensive project plans, including scope, schedule, budget, and resource allocation.
  • Monitor project progress, identify potential risks, and implement corrective actions to keep projects on track.
  • Technical Design & Analysis: Conduct engineering feasibility studies and optimize designs for efficiency.
  • Develop detailed engineering drawings, specifications, and documentation while ensuring compliance with industry standards.
  • Procurement & Vendor Management: Source and negotiate with vendors for materials, equipment, and services.
  • Manage vendor relationships and oversee contract execution.
  • Construction & Installation Oversight: Supervise construction and installation activities, ensuring adherence to project plans and quality standards.
  • Conduct quality inspections, testing, and compliance checks.
  • Commissioning & Startup: Oversee the commissioning and startup of new equipment and facilities, ensuring seamless operation.
  • Team Leadership: Lead and mentor project teams, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment.

Who You Are

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
  • 3-5 years of experience in project engineering within a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong understanding of engineering principles, best practices, and industry regulations.
  • Proficiency in CAD software (AutoCAD, SolidWorks) and project management tools (Microsoft Project, Trello, or Asana).
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to identify and resolve complex challenges.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills, enabling seamless collaboration in a remote work environment.
