Principal Backend Engineer – Rust & Distributed Systems:

My client is building something groundbreaking—a high-performance, real-time platform designed for massive scale. They looking for experienced backend engineers (7-10 years) at the Principal/Staff level to help shape its foundation.

What You'll Do:

• Develop ultra-scalable backend systems using Rust, C++, or other low-level languages.
• Work on distributed systems with technologies like Kafka, Redpanda, and ScyllaDB.
• Build a shared Rust component powering both iOS and Android for real-time data sync.
• Own and optimise core infrastructure, ensuring speed, reliability, and efficiency.

What We’re Looking For:

• Deep expertise in Rust, C++, or similar low-level programming.
• Experience with distributed systems in production.
• Passion for high-performance computing and consumer-facing products.
