AWS Cloud Architect - Freelance - 12 Months

Next Ventures are currently looking for an AWS Architect for one of our customers in the Retail space.

This will be for a 12 month contract with a chance of extension working fully remote.

The Role:

• Design and develop smart solutions using AWS products to cater to large business volume use cases.
• Be part of a team to realize the business vision using DevOps and SAFE methodologies.
• Participate in architectural forums and sessions to define and develop AWS best practices for the enterprise.
• Work closely with business and IT stakeholders to continuously align with the vision.
• Evangelize AWS products to coach and mentor diverse teams.
• Create IPs and reusable assets for reusability across different client landscapes.

Experience Required:

• 5-7 years of experience in AWS products and services:
• AWS Landing Zones, Network Architecture
• Compute & Storage solutions
• AWS Security Solutions
• Experience as a developer/designer/architect in at least 2 large scale projects/programs.
• Experience of large scale cloud migrations
• Experience or working knowledge of AWS Code Commit, Bitbucket, Jira, Confluence.
